Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how RealtyEdit handles personal information when you use realtyedit.app, our photo-editing services, API, and optional integrations, including Dropbox. RealtyEdit is responsible for the privacy, security, and integrity of user data that RealtyEdit collects or accesses, including data accessed through Dropbox. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@realtyedit.app.
2. Information we collect
Account information: when you sign in, we receive information such as your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier from your sign-in provider. We also store account preferences, team membership and access information, and communications you send us.
Photos and editing information: we receive photos you upload or authorize us to import, filenames, file metadata (which may include camera information or location data), listing names, editing instructions, prompts, saved settings, and generated images. Avoid uploading personal or sensitive information that is not needed for your editing request.
Billing information: we store subscription, credit, purchase, and transaction records. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles payment-card information.
Technical information: our services and infrastructure may collect IP addresses, browser and device information, usage events, referral information, processing activity, and diagnostic or security logs.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; manage accounts and team access; import, process, store, display, and deliver photos; apply requested edits; operate integrations and API callbacks; manage credits and billing; respond to support requests; and communicate about the service.
We also use technical and usage information to understand service usage, diagnose failures, maintain and improve service reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
AI model training and improvement: when "Allow anonymous use of your images for improving AI models" is enabled in your Account Settings, RealtyEdit may use your images anonymously to train and improve AI models. This setting is enabled by default. You can opt out at any time by turning off this setting and saving your changes. If you opt out, we will not use your images for training or improving AI models. Opting out does not affect our use of your images to process and deliver the edits you request.
4. Dropbox integration
Connecting Dropbox is optional and uses Dropbox's authorization flow. RealtyEdit does not ask for or receive your Dropbox password. With your authorization, we receive Dropbox account information, including your account identifier, name, and email address, as well as access and refresh tokens that let the integration operate while you are offline.
The integration requests permission to read account information, read file and folder metadata, read file contents, and write file contents. We use these permissions to identify your connected account, locate and monitor configured folders, import supported source photos, create output folders, and export edited photos according to your settings. The permissions shown by Dropbox may allow broader access than the folders selected for your RealtyEdit workflow.
We store connection information, folder settings, synchronization state, and import/export records. Imported photos and related metadata are copied to RealtyEdit's processing and storage infrastructure, and relevant data is provided to the service providers involved in processing and delivering your edits. Dropbox change notifications help us detect new work.
You can disconnect Dropbox in your RealtyEdit account settings. Disconnection marks the connection inactive and removes its stored access and refresh tokens. You can also revoke RealtyEdit's authorization through Dropbox's connected-app settings. Disconnection does not automatically delete photos or records already imported into RealtyEdit, or edited files already exported to Dropbox. Work already in progress may still complete.
5. Service providers and other disclosures
We provide relevant information to third-party services used to operate RealtyEdit. These include Google/Firebase for authentication, databases, hosting, storage, and analytics; Cloudflare for storage and delivery; Modal and configured AI/image-processing providers, such as Google Vertex AI and Replicate, for photo editing; Stripe for payments; and providers used for email, support, monitoring, and referral attribution. The providers involved depend on the features and processing workflow you use.
Photos, metadata, and editing prompts may be sent to processing providers to perform requested edits. Dropbox receives files and metadata when you enable Dropbox export. Third-party providers handle information under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.
Information may be accessible to team members or others you authorize to access your account or listings. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security concerns, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
6. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
RealtyEdit and its providers use browser storage and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, editing settings, analytics, and referral attribution. Firebase/Google Analytics may collect information about service usage and browser or device activity.
You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking or clearing them may affect sign-in, saved preferences, and other features. Third-party services you visit, including Dropbox and Stripe, have their own cookie and privacy practices.
7. Retention and deletion
Photos, outputs, account information, and integration records are retained as needed to provide the service, preserve your editing history, handle support and reprocessing, maintain security, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and operational needs; there is no single fixed deletion period for all data.
You can use available photo and listing deletion controls and contact support@realtyedit.app to request deletion of your account, imported Dropbox data, or other personal information. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the account. Some information may need to be retained for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or security purposes, and copies in backups or logs may remain until their retention cycles expire.
Deleting data from RealtyEdit does not automatically delete files in your Dropbox account or other destinations you control. Manage those copies directly with the relevant service.
8. Security and international processing
We use measures such as authentication, access controls, and secure connections to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your account credentials and review team access and connected integrations.
RealtyEdit and its providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
You can update available account preferences, manage team access, disconnect integrations, and request help with your information. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
To make a request, email support@realtyedit.app with the email address associated with your RealtyEdit account and a description of your request. We will assess and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority.
10. Children
RealtyEdit is intended for business and professional use, not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to RealtyEdit, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest update. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
